Apple Watch is dependent on iPhone 5 and later models (iOS 8.2 and above) for many of its default functions as well as to access Apple products and services through Bluetooth and/or Wi-Fi.

It quickly became the best-selling wearable gadget across the globe with 4.2 million devices sold in less than 3 months of its release. The Apple Watch allows significant levels of personalization, including modification routines, Siri messages/conversations and third-party customizable bands. An Apple Watch can make phone calls, access voicemails, show new mail or message alerts, show updates on weather, sports, entertainment, show a user’s heart rate, as well as access maps and directions. The device comes in three model options to match users’ differing needs: Apple Watch, Apple Watch Sport and Apple Watch Edition.
