The term AIOps looks similar to another abbreviated term – DevOps – that is also being used in the technology world. Like DevOps, AIOps has to do with breaking down silos and merging various processes. However, unlike DevOps, AIOps has more to do with the automation of IT services.

AIOps seeks to take advantage of log and performance data by automating the prior operational analytics setups that did more of this type of thing manually.
